2024 Mock Draft
Caleb Williams is a lock to go here, given his mix of play-making and athleticism. Chicago knew they were picking him months ago and while its not a guarantee that he works out, a player of his caliber gives them the best chance of being perennial Super Bowl contenders. |
Pick 1
Chicago Bears
Caleb Williams
QB, USC
There is too much smoke pointing towards Jayden Daniels going there. His dual threat ability and consistent growth makes him a player that I think the NFL seems to really like. |
Pick 2
Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels
QB, LSU
This leaves Maye here for the patriots who are in desperate need of a QB. Maye is great over the middle of the field while still having time to grow, at only 21 years old. |
Pick 3
New England Patriots
Drake Maye
QB, UNC
Marvin Harrison is the best player in this draft and the best WR prospect in a long time. His high floor and ceiling, along with major wide receiver need, makes him an obvious pick for the Cardinals. While a trade down is possible, the Cardinals have the most draft assets of any team so picking a blue chip player here makes the most sense. |
Pick 4
Arizona Cardinals
Marvin Harrison Jr.
WR, OSU
The Vikings have been heavily linked to JJ McCarthy, and the acquisition of pick 23 indicates their desire to trade up. The Chargers are in a position to trade down given needs everywhere outside of QB. MCcarthy had accurate impactful 3rd down passes when needed, but still never had to carry the offense the way many other QB's did. |
Pick 5
Minnesota Vikings (via LAC)
JJ Mccarthy
QB, Michigan
Giants need help on offense and in this case they can go quarterback, which leaves receiver as the next most likely option. I really like Malik Nabers who is explosive and an incredible athlete and has one of the highest ceiling of any player in this draft. |
Pick 6
New York Giants
Malik Nabers
WR, LSU
Rarely does team need fit the best player available perfectly, but the Titans had the worst offensive line in 2023, and Joe Alt is a blue chip tackle prospect. Despite his size he is a mauler in the run game, and has great mirroring skills in pass pro. Him falling allows the Titans and Bill Calahan to get a franchise cornerstone for years to come. |
Pick 7
Tennessee Titans
Joe Alt
OT, Notre Dame
The Falcons will almost certainly be the first team to take a defensive player, but whether that's Laiatu Latu or Dallas Turner is still in the air. I went for Latu as he is one of the most technically proficient edges in the past few years. The Falcons are in win now mode with rookie weapons and an aging Kirk Cousins, and I think Latu will have a bigger impact in his rookie contact, even if the medicals limit his playing time afterwards. |
Pick 8
Atlanta Falcons
Laiatu Latu
EDGE, UCLA
Rome Odunze and Byron Murphy are the 2 options here. Murphy has been a massive riser recently and I'm buying the hype as Poles stated yesterday his preference for interior rushers, and the way he'll fit with Eberflus's scheme as a pass rushing 3-tech. |
Pick 9
Chicago Bears
Byron Murphy II
DT, Texas
The Jets are now left with Rome Odunze who will make an immediate impact. Long term tackle insurance also makes sense here but after signing Tyron Smith, Joe Douglas must believe their best chance at a Super Bowl is hoping everyone stays healthy and filling out the offense next to Mike Williams and Garrett Wilson. |
Pick 10
New York Jets
Rome Odunze
WR, Washington
The Chargers have very suddenly been mixed with JC Latham, given Harbaugh's desire to run the ball. At number 5 it would be a reach, but here at 11 it makes more sense. Latham is a raw prospect with all the athletic intagibles, and a player I could see at both guard and tackle. |
Pick 11
Los Angeles Chargers (via MIN)
JC Latham
OT, Alabama
The Chargers have very suddenly been mixed with JC Latham, given Harbaugh's desire to run the ball. At number 5 it would be a reach, but here at 11 its easier to stomach. Latham is a raw prospect with all the athletic intangibles, and a player I could see at both guard and tackle. |
Pick 12
Los Angeles Rams (via DEN)
Troy Fautanu
OT, Alabama
The Raiders have been linked with grabbing a quarterback for while, and Penix makes the most sense if they don't want to draft up. Besides his age and injury history, Penix is a solid prospect who could be |
Pick 13
Las Vegas Raiders (via DEN)
Micheal Penix Jr.
QB, Washington
Given Ryan Ramczky's age and injury situation, the Saints will most likely have a massive need at tackle. That means selecting the best tackle available, and Olu Fashanu fits the bill as one of the most proficient pass protecting tackles in recent memory. |
Pick 14
New Orleans Saints
Olumuyiwa Fashanu.
OT, Penn State
Giving Shane Steichen a weapon like Brock Bowers makes a ton of sense. The Colts love A+ athletes so Brian Thomas also makes sense here, but Bowers is a safer fit who will can play in more areas of the field. |
Pick 15
Indianapolis Colts
Brock Bowers
TE, Georgia
After loosing Diggs and Davis, the Bills are in desperate need of a receiver. Brandon Beane is also aggressive GM and the Seahawks don't have any pressing needs other than interior offensive line. Allowing Brian Thomas to consistently pressure the safeties, combined with Josh Allen's arm could make an elite pairing |
Pick 16
Buffallo Bills (via. SEA)
Brian Thomas Jr.
WR, LSU
The Jaguars need cornerback help and Quinyon Mitchell is most likely their pick. He had the best pre draft performance of any corner, with a fantastic Senior Bowl performance along with great athletic testing. |
Pick 17
Jacksonville Jaguars
Quienion Mitchell
CB, Toledo
The Bengals need a few different positions but tackle makes the most sense, especially as a long term options which the Bengals have always considered. Amarius Mims outside of his injury history and lack of playing time is a great tackle prospect and could slot in at left or right. |
Pick 18
Cincinnati Bengals
Amarius Mims
OT, Georgia
The Broncos have a ton of needs everywhere so Dallas Turner falling here is good value for them. While still raw he has the potential of being an elite player off the edge. Bo Nix also make a lot of sense here. |
Pick 19
Denver Broncos (via LAR)
Dallas Turner
Edge, Alabama
Draft day is always unpredictable, and this would be the craziest move of the night, having the Steelers trade for Brandon Aiyuk. The Steelers need a receiver and the 49ers have been actively fielding offers, and in this scenario they take Taliese Fuanga, an elite run blocking tackle, who could also play guard. |
Pick 20
Denver Broncos (via LAR)
Tailese Fuanga
OT, Oregon State
The Dolphins need help on their offensive line, and Graham Barton is the next best player who is extremely versatile, but who makes the most sense at guard. However center is also an option, or potentially a tackle given Terron Armstead's age. |
Pick 21
Miami Dolphins
Graham Barton
G, Duke
The Eagles secondary went from being a strength to a weakness after the declining play of both Darius Slay and James Bradburry. I could see them also trading up for Arnold as they have been linked, but in their best case they can stick and pick. |
Pick 22
Philadelphia Eagles
Terrion Arnold
CB, Alabama
Trading back allows the Chargers to address their biggest need, which is at receiver. I think the NFL likes Xavier Worthy, who is more than a speed threat and the Chargers need help in that role after loosing both Mike Williams and Keenan Allen. |
Pick 23
Los Angeles Chargers
Xavier Worthy
WR, Texas
The Cowboys could use both offensive line and receiver help, and AD Mitchell is the best option between the two. He gets a lot of comparisons to CeeDee Lamb, and would help improve their receiver room after Michael Gallup's lackluster play. |
Pick 24
Denver Broncos (via LAR)
AD Mitchell
WR, Texas
The biggest need for Green Bay is secondary help. Dejean is a versatile defensive back, who could play outside corner, slot, or safety. |
Pick 25
Denver Broncos (via LAR)
Cooper Dejean
CB, Iowa
Tampa Bay needs more of a presence on Defense and Jared Verse is a well rounded pass rusher that Todd Bowles would love to work with. |
Pick 26
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jared Verse
Edge, FSU
The Cardinals have a ton of needs and Johnny Newton falling to them makes a lot of sense. Having a presence like him in the interior is very valuable, and Johnathan Gannon could use a player of his caliber. |
Pick 27
Arizona Cardinals
Johnny Newton
DT, Illinois
The Seahawks biggest need in interior offensive line, and Jackson-Powers Johnson is the best player there. He would be a fantastic center and the heaviest in combine history, but could also play guard depending on the Seahawks preference. |
Pick 28
Seattle Seahawks
Jackson-Powers Johnson
OC, Oregon
Pick 29
Detroit Lions
Kool-Aid Mckinstry
CB, Alabama
Pick 30
Baltimore Ravens
Jordan Morgan
OT, Arizona
Pick 31
San Francisco 49ers
Chop Robinson
Edge, Penn State
Pick 32
Kansas City Chiefs
Ladd McConkey
WR, Georgia
